The 4 plus 3 Band is a brand new Dance- and Swing Band in the SW Florida Area. This Band was founded in 2018 by Joe Winter, Trumpet Player and Arranger. The composition of the band is international from the US, Europe and Canada. The instrumentation consists of 4 horns and 3 rhythm. This cast also gives the band their name, 4 (horn section) plus 3 (rhythem section). This is a music, that wants to convince with very characterful polyphonic horn-arrangments. The sound of 4 plus 3 Dance- and Swing Band comes really close to the sound of a classic Big Band. Each musician will also introduce individually himself with improvisation-parts. With Swing, Latin, Bossa, Blues and Rock there are stylistically varied tunes. Such as well-known tunes like, FLY ME TO THE MOON, ON BROADWAY, A NIGHT IN TUNESIA, BLUE BOSSA and TEQUILA.
